Always looking for an adventure we set off down the coast to beautiful South West Rocks.
After purchasing a coffee from a cafe we crossed the road to explore the parklands by the beach.
Although the sky was not so clear the clouds made for a dramatic backdrop for my photos.
After playing in the park and getting sand between our toes we drove along the bay to Trial Bay Gaol. As we entered the staff told us to look out for the friendly local kangaroos that visited.
We basically had the place to ourselves which was cool.
Our little one had loads of fun finding random things and dancing on random objects.
We never found the kangaroos just lots of interesting spaces where they had obviously spent time previously.
The view back towards my home, which isn't very far as the crow fly's.
From the gaol we went on to Hat Head National Park where we found smokey cape lighthouse. Once again very cloudy but no sign of any rain made for some dramatic photo's.
